CORNUCOPIA comes from Greek mythology and literally translated means "horn of plenty". It was a symbol to represent an abundant supply depicted by a goat's horn filled with fruit, corn & flowers. Legend has it that it was a gift from Zeus to his daughter, Amalthaea. A more everyday definition is "plentiful". The symbol and meaning, we feel, sums up our ethos. We passionately believe in providing hearty portions of freshly prepared market ingredients at unrivalled prices. |

The style of our cuisine is largely French based, although other influences feature strongly. Cajun, Oriental and traditional English fayre can be found and with the Head Chef, Zac, being a French trained Moroccan, North African spices and couscous are also prominent. Please visit our menu pages to see samples. All our menus change on a fortnightly basis. |
| The decor of the restaurant retains the essence of rustic charm, created by a blend of wooden flooring and quaint, antiquated, traditional furniture. This is aligned with a "harvest" themed colour scheme of corn yellow, terracotta and blue, complemented by soft candlelight in the evenings. The service matches the environment. You will find it very friendly, yet relaxed and laid back. | ![]() |
